American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring a minimum of 3 years of OR experience, including Level I Trauma and robotic surgery, with a PA or compact RN license required.

Hospital Operating Room setting

Day shift schedule: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM (3x12-hour shifts)

Rotation to 2 weekend shifts required per schedule

On-call requirements within a 6-week schedule: up to 2 weekend call shifts and 4 weeknight call shifts

On-call coverage required for 1 summer and 1 winter holiday (shifts may be 8 or 12 hours depending on need)

Charting system: Cerner

Active PA or compact RN license required

BSN required

Minimum 3 years of OR nursing experience required

Level I Trauma experience required

Liver and kidney surgical experience required

Orthopedic, neurosurgical, and robotic surgery experience required

2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

Valid certifications required for consideration

First-time travelers will not be considered for this position

Holiday coverage is required for 1 summer and 1 winter holiday, with on-call responsibility for an additional summer and winter holiday

Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are accepted but at a different pay rate
