Gate Clerkto be the first point of contact for a fast-paced logistics operation. You will play a key role in keeping freight flowing safely and efficiently while supporting drivers, carriers, and on-site teams.

What you will do
- Manage daily gate operations
- Check in and out inbound and outbound trailers
- Verify equipment and complete audits and inspections
- Track and report activity accurately
- Support communication and data entry using Excel, Outlook, and Word

Job Duties and Qualifications
What You'll Do
- Support daily gate and yard operations in a fast-paced environment
- Identify, troubleshoot, and report trailer or operational issues to site leadership
- Conduct daily yard audits, inspections, and reconcile trailer inventory in all weather conditions
- Track daily production numbers and enter data accurately into reporting spreadsheets
- Maintain and verify daily staffing sheets based on site schedules
- Assist with tracking equipment maintenance and repairs, partnering with leadership and safety teams
- Review and ensure accuracy of bills and invoices within the Fleet Management System
- Process and organize Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIRs)
- Take on additional tasks as needed to support smooth site operations
What You Bring
- Valid driver's license with the ability to operate a company vehicle when needed
- Comfort working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Basic working knowledge of Excel, Outlook, Word, or Teams
- Strong attention to detail with accurate data entry skills
- Ability to stay organized and manage time effectively in a fast-moving environment
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as walking for extended periods, opening and closing trailer doors, and lifting 50+ pounds
