The Opportunity
As a Senior Commercial Finance Broker, you will serve as a trusted advisor to business owners by identifying capital needs, structuring financing solutions, and guiding transactions from consultation through funding.
This is a relationship-driven role where credibility, financial acumen, and consultative selling are valued far more than high-pressure sales tactics.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage relationships with business owners, referral partners, CPAs, attorneys, and financial professionals.
- Structure financing solutions using a broad portfolio of commercial lending products.
- Manage transactions from discovery through funding while providing exceptional client service.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities from inbound leads.
- Negotiate funding structures that align with client objectives.
- Stay informed on market trends and lending products to provide strategic recommendations.
- Represent Straight Line Source with professionalism and integrity.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in commercial lending, business finance, private credit, alternative lending, banking, fintech, or merchant cash advance.
- Demonstrated history of consistently achieving high production goals.
- Strong consultative sales and negotiation skills.
- Ability to develop business through referrals and relationship management.
- Financial statement literacy and experience evaluating business financing needs.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with exceptional organizational and communication skills.
