Nguyen's Kitchen is a modern Asian eatery that serves delicious food in a fast-casual environment. We are now hiring LINE COOKS at our location in Santa Ana! We are in need of candidates with a positive, motivated attitude who would love to grow with the company.
Our business hours are 10am - 12am Sunday-Wednesday, and 10am - 1 am Thursday-Saturday.
Compensation:
- $20.50/hr (Hourly= $18.50/hr + GUARANTEED minimum $2.00/hr tips) with opportunities for a raise every 6 months. Actual pay after tip can be over $20.00/hr
- Guaranteed at least $2.00/hr in tips alone! If tips are ever below $2.00/hr, we will pay the difference!!
- Opportunity for a raise every 6 months or sooner based on performance, work ethic, and professionalism
Requirements:
- Morning and LATE Night shifts Available
- Morning Shifts can range from 9:45am-6:00pm
- Late Night Shifts can range from 5:30pm-1:00am
- Proactive and driven personality
- Able to follow instructions from training
- Some experience using a flat top grill and a deep fryer
- Able to maintain a clean, clutter-free, and organized station at all times
- Prep experience required
Responsibilities:
- Operate kitchen equipment such as a toaster, flat top grill, deep fryer, stovetop, and oven to prepare customer orders
- Prep sauces, teas, and meat in large batches for later use
- Wash, cut, and prepare vegetables for later use
- Lift 20-50lbs as needed
