Job Overview:
We are seeking a talented, creative Retail Sales & Graphic Design Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will deliver exceptional customer service, drive retail sales, support production operations, and contribute to the store's overall success. You will also create custom graphics that clearly communicate ideas, inspire customers, and bring their visions to life. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and passionate about combining creativity with outstanding service in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service by consulting with customers to understand their needs, design preferences, and project goals while providing creative recommendations.
- Create and edit custom artwork using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop and/or CorelDRAW.
- Finalize, proof, and prepare all customer artwork for accurate production.
- Review incoming and previous day's orders to prioritize artwork, production, and delivery schedules.
- Meet or exceed production deadlines, including 24-hour turnaround orders.
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond promptly to emails and voicemails with professionalism and accuracy.
- Maintain a five-star customer experience by producing high-quality work and resolving customer questions or concerns.
- Assist with merchandising, stocking, and maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming retail environment.
- Support inventory management by receiving shipments, restocking merchandise, and performing inventory counts.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking of merchandise as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- At least one year of retail customer service or sales experience.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop) and/or CorelDRAW.
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to compose clear, professional emails.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative mindset with a passion for design and delivering outstanding customer experiences.
- Positive, energetic, and outgoing personality with a team-first attitude.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Knowledge of garment printing methods, production processes, and materials
- Experience creating graphics for digital and social media platforms
- Previous key holder or opening/closing experience in a retail or small business environment
Additional Responsibilities:
- Perform opening and closing procedures accurately and on time.
- Monitor orders in progress and proactively communicate updates or delays with customers.
- Troubleshoot production issues and work with customers and team members to resolve them professionally.
- Follow up on orders in the production pipeline to ensure projects remain on schedule.
- Receive shipments, organize inventory, and assist with monthly inventory counts.
- Cross-train and assist with production, sales, and store operations as business needs require.
