Position Summary
The Sales Administrative Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the sales team by managing administrative responsibilities, coordinating communications, and ensuring efficient day-to-day operations. This position is essential in maintaining accurate customer information, assisting with sales processes, and helping deliver exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the sales team, including scheduling meetings and managing calendars.
- Prepare and process sales documents, including proposals, contracts, and invoices.
- Maintain and update customer databases and CRM systems.
- Respond to customer inquiries and direct them to the appropriate sales representative.
- Track sales orders, shipments, and deliveries to ensure timely follow-up.
- Generate sales reports and assist with data analysis as needed.
- Coordinate communication between sales, marketing, and other internal departments.
- Assist with organizing sales events, presentations, and client meetings.
- Perform filing, record-keeping, and general office administrative duties.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Previous experience in an administrative support or sales support role required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience using CRM software, such as Salesforce, is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
