JOB SUMMARY:
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for maintaining all guest rooms and public areas in compliance with hotel standards while ensuring cost-effective operations. This role oversees maintenance personnel, coordinates repair programs, and executes preventive maintenance to maintain the overall condition of the property.

- Hires, trains, and supervises all personnel in the Maintenance Department.
- Prepares daily assignments and schedules for maintenance staff.
- Ensures adherence to hotel policies and safety regulations.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Directs maintenance operations to ensure guestrooms and public areas are maintained to hotel standards.
- Inspects premises daily to confirm compliance with maintenance guidelines.
- Maintains monthly inventories, payroll records, maintenance reports, and requisitions.
- Purchases and verifies delivery of all maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment.
- Issues supplies and ensures proper handling, labeling, and storage of chemicals.
- Assists in annual budget preparation and manages expenses within budgeted limits.
- Executes preventive maintenance programs and responds to maintenance emergencies.
- Repairs malfunctions in air conditioning, heating, electrical systems, plumbing, and equipment.
- Ensures the safety and security of guests and property by following key control procedures and safety regulations.
- Monitors maintenance employees' uniforms, ensuring proper appearance and condition.
- Promotes courteous and efficient service from all maintenance staff to guests and hotel personnel.
- Identifies and implements new methods, techniques, and equipment to improve efficiency.
- Performs other duties as assigned to support hotel operations.
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills. Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general repair.
- Ability to manage budgets and control costs.
- Effective problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Knowledge of workplace safety regulations and compliance.
EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 3+ years of experience in building maintenance, facilities management, or a related field.
- 1+ year of supervisory experience preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Frequent standing, bending, stooping, climbing, and kneeling.
- Exposure to varying temperatures, chemicals, and noisy environments.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Pay: $58,000.00 - $66,000.00 per year
