We are seeking a Lead Teacher to join our organization! This individual will plan and present age appropriate activities for children. A lead teacher is responsible for curriculum planning and classroom management.
Responsibilities:
· Instruct children in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth
· Create a fun and safe learning environment
· Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents
· Communicate with parents on children's' growth and progress
· Maintain the health and safety of all students
Qualifications:
· Minimum of 60 college credit hours with Minimum of 6 semester hours in Child Development or ECE
· Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields
· Curriculum development experience
· Classroom management
· Passionate about working with children
· Ability to build rapport with children and parents
· Creativity
· Positive and patient demeanor
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Must be willing to do DCFS Background check
· Ability to work Monday to Friday (7am to 630pm) (schedule fluctuates)
