Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble breakfast and lunch items efficiently, following established recipes and menu specifications
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
- Assist with menu planning by suggesting creative ideas and ensuring ingredient availability
- Handle food with care, practicing proper food handling techniques to prevent contamination
- Support catering and special event meal preparations as needed
- Serve dishes promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy service times
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service environments is highly desirable
- Strong culinary experience with excellent knife skills and proficiency in food preparation and cooking techniques
- Familiarity with food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures
- Experience working in a restaurant setting is a plus
- Knowledge of menu planning, meal preparation, and catering operations
