Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and experienced Class A Over-the-Road (OTR) Truck Driver to join our team. We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. Our routes typically run from West Texas to Wisconsin and back. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage routes effectively. The Truck Driver will operate tractor-trailers, ensuring timely deliveries and pickups.
Responsibilities
- Operate and drive trucks for the transportation of materials and goods.
- Plan routes and ensure timely delivery to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and other required documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding route changes or delays.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on the road.
- Assist in the maintenance of the truck by reporting any mechanical issues or concerns.
Requirements
- Proven 2 year verifiable experience in OTR truck driving with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL).
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for managing delivery schedules.
- Good communication skills for interacting with dispatchers, clients, and team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $0.60 - $0.72 per mile
