Duties
- Perform a variety of nail services such as manicures, pedicures, gel applications, acrylic nails, and builder gel with precision and artistry
- Apply color theory principles to create custom nail designs that match clients’ preferences and current trends
- Maintain strict salon safety protocols by adhering to sanitation and disinfection procedures for tools and workstations
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, offer recommendations, and ensure a satisfying experience
- Educate clients on proper nail care routines and product usage to promote healthy nails
- Upsell retail products like nail oils
- Keep detailed records of services provided, client preferences, and inventory levels for efficient salon operations
Qualifications
- Proven experience working as a Nail Technician or in the beauty industry with knowledge of manicure, pedicure, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art techniques
- Strong understanding of salon safety protocols, sanitation standards, and disinfection procedures
- Skilled in applying nail extensions, acrylic nails, and performing esthetic laser treatments or other advanced services is a plus
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and provide outstanding customer service
- Knowledge of color theory, nail care best practices, and current beauty trends
- Ability to upsell retail products confidently while maintaining professionalism
- Cosmetology license or Manicurist license
