The Business Development Representative will work alongside our thoroughly trained and established Business Development team. Each Business Development Representative will be assigned a dedicated trainer and one business client to become familiar with, including all of their promotional offerings.
The Business Development Representative will attend weekly business and sales meetings in the office, then travel to meet new potential leads to discuss our clients' promotional deals. We thrive in a team-based environment and are looking for someone motivated to contribute, grow, and help our business flourish.
What you'll be doing as a Business Development Representative:
- Familiarize yourself with all assigned clients to fully understand their needs and develop a plan to meet their goals
- Coach and mentor fellow Business Development Representatives who need guidance and support
- Network continuously with top representatives and managers to expand your knowledge base and sharpen your skills
- Invest in your leadership, customer service, and management development both inside and outside of the office
- Qualify provided leads by engaging with them directly and assessing their specific needs
- Maintain and update the CRM database accurately and complete enrollments or schedule follow-up appointments as needed
Desired Experience and Qualifications for a Business Development Representative:
- Experience in customer service, marketing, and/or sales preferred
- Strong negotiation and conversational skills required
- Comfortable interacting with a diverse customer base daily
- Optimistic, resilient, and dedicated to your own professional growth
- Goal-oriented and driven to achieve without being told
