We are seeking a dependable and compassionate RN or LPN Charge Nurse to oversee nursing care delivery during assigned shifts. This role ensures positive clinical outcomes, resident satisfaction, and compliance with all regulatory standards while supervising nursing staff and coordinating care.
Supervise nursing staff and support team performance during shift
Deliver and oversee high-quality resident care
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and policy
Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges
Communicate condition changes to physicians and families
Assign CNA duties, breaks, and resident assignments
Lead shift huddles and provide updates to leadership
Complete accurate documentation and incident reports
Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards
Participate in surveys and inspections
Monitor staffing levels to reduce overtime and agency use
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to meet resident needs
Graduate of an approved nursing program
Active RN or LPN license in the state of practice
Current BLS/CPR certification
Strong leadership, clinical judgment, and documentation skills
Strong communicator and team leader
Organized and detail-oriented
Calm in fast-paced environments
