Directional Drilling / Fiber Optic Laborer
We are looking for motivated individuals to join our directional drilling and fiber optic crew. Applicants must be dependable, safety-minded, and willing to work outdoors in a team environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Complete assigned tasks efficiently and safely.
- Hand dig to expose existing utilities when required.
- Spot and identify utilities during drilling and excavation operations.
- Assist the drill crew with daily jobsite operations.
- Fill and compact potholes after utility work is completed.
- Perform site restoration including black dirt work, raking, and seeding.
- Load, unload, pick up, and organize tools and materials on the jobsite.
- Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized.
- Follow all company and jobsite safety procedures.
- Install fiber pedestals and vaults
Requirements
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Must wear required PPE, including reflective safety shirt/vest and composite or steel-toe boots.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Ability to work well with others and communicate respectfully.
- Must be dependable, cooperative, and professional on the jobsite.
- No excessive swearing or disrespectful behavior tolerated.
Experience in directional drilling, underground utilities, or fiber optics is preferred, but willing to train the right candidate. wage can vary on experience, how well you work with others, how efficient you are able to complete each tasks given

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 60 per week
