Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, focusing on their physical, emotional, and intellectual development. This role involves leading a classroom of young learners, implementing engaging lesson plans, and fostering a love for learning through various educational activities. The Lead Teacher will also collaborate with parents and staff to ensure the overall well-being and development of each child.
Responsibilities
- Implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and participation.
- Provide physical education activities that promote health and wellness among students.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, using behavior management techniques to guide student interactions.
- Conduct assessments to monitor student progress in literacy education and early intervention strategies.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's development, progress, and any concerns.
- Collaborate with other educators to enhance curriculum development and share best practices.
- Ensure the safety and welfare of all students in the classroom setting.
- Supervise and mentor assistant teachers or aides as needed.
