Job Summary
The Admissions Representative is an integral part of the Jean Madeline Aveda Institute staff, and is primarily responsible for activities related to student recruitment, enrollment, and retention. The Admissions Representative must know and understand programs, schedules of programs, in addition to fully understanding the enrollment process.
Summary of Essential Job Functions

Represent Jean Madeline Aveda Institute to prospective student and their families.

Be an expert in the admissions process, must be able to interview and guide institute tours for prospective students and their families.

Generate, document and follow up with any prospective students.

Manage candidate database, including ad hoc reporting upon request.

Work closely with admissions committee and financial aid to resolve any enrollment challenges.

Proctor Cosmetology Aptitude Test.

Maintain communication with accepted students, up until they begin coursework.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma; some post-high school education preferred.

Two to four years related work experience, preferably in outreach, admissions, or recruiting.

Experience with Microsoft Office.
