JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The dishwasher cleans all restaurant cooking ware, serving ware, dish ware and other items as needed. This person aids in the success of the entire restaurant by timely washing all restaurant items thoroughly and ensuring clean and sanitary dishware to cook, serve, eat, and drink with.
JOB DUTIES
- Follows and performs proper disposal techniques for food waste, recyclables, and non-food trash.
- Follows proper cleaning techniques of serving ware including washing sanitizing, drying, stacking, replacing, etc.
- Properly handles dishware to minimize or eliminate damages or breakages.
- Operates dish washing machine according to instructions
- Assists kitchen crew with light prep work including knife work, making sauces, etc.
- Assists kitchen crew with cleaning duties and maintain a clean and sanitary work station.
- Performs all duties in accordance with ServSafe food handling policies.
- Perform necessary side work and other duties as assigned by manager.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.73 - $15.00 per hour
