Requirements
- Current ARRT certification in Radiography (R)
- Active state Radiologic Technologist license (if applicable)
- Excellent patient care and communication skills
- Desire to specialize in Mammography and Women's Imaging
- Commitment to completing Mammography training requirements and clinical competencies
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to remain employed for a minimum of 1,000 work hours following successful completion of the training program
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in diagnostic imaging
- Mobile imaging experience is a plus
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
About the Role
As a participant in our Mammography Training Program, you will work directly alongside experienced Mammography Technologists while gaining the knowledge and clinical experience necessary to become certified in Mammography.
Training Includes:
- Patient positioning and breast imaging techniques
- Mammography equipment operation
- Quality assurance and quality control procedures
- Patient education and communication
- MQSA compliance and regulatory requirements
- Best practices in women's breast health imaging
In exchange for the training, mentorship, and clinical experience provided through this program, participants are required to commit to 1,000 work hours with the organization after successfully completing their Mammography training.
