Leakesville Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor for the day shift to oversee clinical operations and ensure high-quality resident care. The RN Supervisor provides leadership to nursing staff, ensures regulatory compliance, and supports a positive, team-focused work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support licensed and unlicensed nursing staff during the day shift
- Ensure delivery of safe, high-quality resident care in accordance with care plans
- Perform assessments, monitor resident conditions, and intervene as needed
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations (CMS, state survey standards)
- Communicate effectively with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members
- Address staffing needs, assignments, and performance concerns
- Participate in admissions, discharges, and care plan updates
- Respond to incidents, complete documentation, and follow up appropriately
- Serve as a clinical resource and mentor to nursing staff
- Able to work some weekends, holidays
- On-call rotation
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum 1–2 years of supervisory or charge nurse experience (long-term care preferred)
- Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations and best practices
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
