Responsibilities
To assist families (Non-Medical) who are seeking relief with their child care needs. We are seeking a responsible, loving and reliable Child Care provider to join our team.
- Care for a designated child as a 1:1 carer to ensure that they are able to engage with a group of non disabled peers and participate in the activities on offer. Actively engaging children/young people, providing encouragement and support To support the child ensuring that their individual needs are identified, acknowledged and met. To ensure good communication is maintained with parents, carers and colleagues. Depending on the individual the role may require aspects of personal and intimate care (i.e. toileting and feeding)
- Qualifications
- Must be available evenings and weekends
- Experience working with individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, or neuro developmental disorders is highly preferred.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required or must be obtained upon hire
- must be 18
- must pass a background check
- Strong communication skills for client interaction, team collaboration, and documentation are vital
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
