Medical Records Coordinator
Position is onsite M-F and will be required to visit provider offices as necessary.
Car and cell phone allowance will be provided.

Duties
- Maintain and organize medical records in accordance with privacy laws and organizational policies
- Retrieve, file, and update patient information using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems accurately and efficiently
- Ensure all medical documentation is complete, legible, and compliant with regulatory standards
- Drive on a regular basis to healthcare provider locations to collect medical records.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to verify record accuracy and facilitate timely access to patient information
- Assist in the preparation of reports and audits related to medical records management
- Implement data security protocols to protect sensitive health information at all times
- Support the transition to new EHR systems or updates by providing training and troubleshooting assistance
Qualifications
- 2 years minimum proven experience working in a medical office or healthcare environment, preferably with medical records management
- Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and digital documentation processes
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare documentation standards
- Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Bilingual in Spanish
- Intermediate Excel knowledge
- Ability to handle confidential information discreetly and professionally
- Basic understanding of healthcare regulations related to patient privacy and data security
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with medical staff and administrative teams
