Overview
The Acai Bar Cafe is looking for an energetic, customer-focused Team Member to join our growing team. We're a fast-paced acai bowl, smoothie, and fresh juice bar serving a loyal community that values quality, speed, friendly and quality service. As a Team Member, you'll be the face of our brand — preparing bowls and drinks to spec, keeping the shop running smoothly, and making sure every customer has a great experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare acai bowls, smoothies, and fresh juices accurately and consistently, following recipe and portioning standards
- Operate point-of-sale system
- Greet customers warmly and manage orders efficiently during peak rush periods
- Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe workstation (prep areas, blenders, toppings station, storage)
- Restock ingredients and supplies throughout shift; flag low inventory to a manager
- Follow all food safety and kosher certification protocols
- Support opening/closing duties as assigned (cleaning, stocking procedures)
- Work collaboratively with teammates to keep service moving during busy periods
- Represent the Acai Bar Cafe brand with a positive, can-do attitude
Skills & Qualifications
- Prior food service or customer service experience preferred, not required
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and multitasking under pressure
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to a full-time schedule
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Willingness to learn recipes, prep standards
- Availability to work some OT/mornings or evenings/weekends as needed
Pay: $17.00 per hour
