Position overview
We're looking for a hands-on Line Leader to run one of our production assembly lines in a fast-paced, regulated (cGMP) manufacturing environment. You'll own both the line and the team on it — making sure we hit our daily production schedule and customer demand while never compromising on safety, quality, or compliance.
Responsibilities
Run the production line — Set up and operate a safe, clean, organized assembly line that meets the daily production schedule and customer demand in a regulated cGMP environment.
Lead and develop the team — Train, motivate, and direct line workers, adjusting task assignments to maximize workflow and building a capable, engaged team.
Own quality and compliance — Follow assembly instructions and procedures, ensure material traceability, maintain accurate documentation and system records, and minimize deviations and nonconformances.
Drive productivity — Plan and schedule each hour of the shift, manage inventory consumption, stage workflow and line changeovers, and continually eliminate waste.
Enforce safety and solve problems — Uphold PPE and safety standards, promote safety observations, and coordinate with technicians, engineering, and warehouse to resolve issues before they slow the line.
What we offer
Structured Scheduling - Commit to full-time shifts with reliable hours and consistent schedules.
Stable Pay - Receive regular paychecks on a consistent schedule, with applicable taxes withheld through our payroll system.
Opportunity for Growth - Temp-to-hire roles with potential for permanent employment and career advancement.
Training - Receive company-provided training to support your role and ensure safety compliance.
Requirements
High school diploma and 2 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages) and the ability to read and interpret instructions, safety rules, and procedure manuals
Strong communication skills — able to lead, train, and inspire a team through clear oral and written communication
Solid problem-solving, decision-making, and time-management skills in a fast-paced environment
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); comfort with systems like Pack Manager, Kronos, and SAP/EDI a plus
