Responsibilities
- Safely operate heavy machinery including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, , and other construction equipment to perform tasks such as grading, digging, lifting, and material transportation.
- Manage various trucks such as front loader trucks, dump trucks, water trucks, and roll-off trucks to support site operations.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of construction sites by moving materials and preparing work areas.
- Collaborate closely with site supervisors and team members to execute project plans efficiently and safely.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations related to construction site operations and heavy machinery use.
- Demonstrate mechanical knowledge of construction equipment including Caterpillar machinery and farm-related machinery such as tankers and concrete mixers.
Experience
- Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment on active job sites with a focus on safety and precision.
- Strong understanding of construction site procedures, safety standards, and equipment maintenance.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot basic issues with heavy machinery.
- Familiarity with various types of construction vehicles including cranes, front loader trucks, water trucks, farm machinery, and concrete mixers is highly desirable.
- Prior experience working on projects involving excavation, grading, material hauling, or site preparation is preferred. Embark on a career where your skills make a tangible difference! Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
