Job Overview
We are seeking 2 dedicated and skilled Laborer to join our team in a scrap metal recycling facility. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a factory or warehouse environment, demonstrating proficiency with hand tools and power tools. This role will utltize forklift experience.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other machinery safely and efficiently as needed.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools for general maintenance
- Assist in the operation of the production line, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a manufacturing facility or warehouse setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in operating a forklift is necessary.
- Mechanical knowledge is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively on an production line, demonstrating attention to detail.
- Strong physical stamina, with the ability to lift heavy objects as required.
- Excellent teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing tasks within the production environment.
