Supplemental Health Care is partnering with a supportive school district in Fort Worth, TX who are seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) Teachers for a full-time contract opportunity supporting students with special needs in an educational setting. This role is ideal for a passionate educator who is committed to helping young learners develop academically, socially, and emotionally through individualized instruction and supportive classroom practices.
Position Overview
The ECSE Teacher will provide specialized instruction to a classroom of approximately 12 to 14 students and will supervise paraprofessional staff. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, experience working with students with disabilities, and a commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Competitive Pay of $43 to $47 an hour
- Contract Dates: August 2026 to June 2027
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver individualized and small-group instruction tailored to student needs.
- Develop and implement IEP goals and classroom interventions.
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate educational records.
- Collaborate with families, service providers, administrators, and general education staff.
- Supervise and support paraprofessionals within the classroom setting.
- Foster a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment that promotes student success.
- Participate in required meetings, trainings, and team collaboration activities.
Schedule
Schedules may vary slightly based on transportation needs. Campus assignment will determine the daily schedule:
- Elementary Campus: Approximately 7:10 AM – 3:45 PM
- Secondary Campus: Approximately 7:40 AM – 4:15 PM
Required Qualifications
- Valid Texas Teaching Certificate issued by the State Board for Educator Certification (SBEC).
- Assignment-appropriate Special Education certification.
- Beginning September 1, 2025, Special Education teachers must hold the Special Education EC–12 Certificate or otherwise meet applicable assignment requirements under current SBEC guidelines.
- Experience working with students with special needs preferred.
- Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to supervise and support paraprofessional staff effectively.
