**Important Note:** This role will also include Service Writer/Estimator responsibilities in addition to those of Shop Foreman/Manager. Experience in all areas is not required but is strongly preferred. The selected candidate will receive training on Landers Collision Centers' procedures and expectations. Compensation will be based on candidate experience and expertise.
About the Job
Landers Collision Centers is looking for an experienced Shop Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our Mt. Vernon collision repair facility. We're looking for someone who can keep the shop running smoothly, support our technicians, help maintain a high standard of repair quality, and make sure every customer has a great experience from drop-off to delivery.
This is a hands-on leadership role that includes managing shop operations, writing estimates, and communicating with customers throughout the repair process. The right candidate is dependable, organized, and enjoys working with both people and vehicles in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily shop operations and technician workflow.
- Schedule and prioritize repair work to meet production goals.
- Ensure repairs meet quality, safety, and OEM standards.
- Write repair estimates and supplements using estimating software.
- Communicate with customers throughout the repair process.
- Coordinate with insurance companies when needed.
- Order and monitor parts as necessary to keep repairs moving.
- Monitor cycle times and help improve shop efficiency.
- Perform final quality inspections before vehicle delivery.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications
- Previous collision repair industry experience required.
- Leadership or management experience preferred.
- Estimating and service writing experience strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of modern collision repair methods and repair planning.
- Familiarity with estimating software (CCC ONE experience is a plus).
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record + reliable form of transportation

Pay: $40,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
