Journeyman Plumber — Stoic Plumbing & Heating

About Us
Stoic Plumbing & Heating is a locally owned plumbing contractor serving the Mossy Rock-Packwood-White Pass corridor. We handle residential and commercial plumbing, new construction rough-ins, and we're a certified HeatMasterSS dealer installing wood and pellet boiler heating systems across Washington and Oregon.
We're a small, tight crew that values real skill and reliability over just showing up. If you're tired of being micromanaged on a big crew where you're just a number, this is a different kind of shop.
What You'll Be Doing
- Running service calls and jobs independently, no one looking over your shoulder
- Leading and mentoring our apprentices on-site
- Driving our company step van (a fully outfitted 2001 Freightliner MT55, decked out with organized tool storage) as your primary rig
- Making real decisions in the field, material choices, job sequencing, client communication
- Rough-ins, service work, and repairs across residential and light commercial jobs
- Opportunity to cross-train on HeatMasterSS hydronic heating installations if interested
What We're Looking For
- Active Washington journeyman plumber license, in good standing
- Several years of hands-on field experience, comfortable working without direct supervision
- Someone who can make sound judgment calls on-site without needing to call the owner for every decision
- Strong communication skills, you'll be representing us directly with clients
- Valid driver's license, clean driving record (you'll be driving our primary service vehicle)
- Reliable, honest, takes pride in the work
