Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items quickly and accurately, following established recipes and safety standards.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer orders efficiently and accurately.
- Take customer orders with enthusiasm, upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience, and handle cash register operations with precision.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace by regularly sanitizing counters, equipment, and dining areas in accordance with food safety protocols.
- Manage food handling responsibilities including proper storage, portioning, and sanitation practices to ensure quality and safety.
- Assist with food service customer order management by ensuring timely delivery of orders to customers or dining areas.
- Support team members during busy periods by bussing tables, restocking supplies, and maintaining overall cleanliness of the restaurant environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and operating kitchen equipment such as fryers, grills, or ovens is advantageous.
- Experience with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency in processing transactions.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously during peak hours.
- Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service with a friendly attitude.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and processing cash transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures within the food industry or similar retail settings.
