Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Restoration Project Manager to lead and oversee restoration projects from inception to completion. In this role, you will coordinate all aspects of property restoration, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Your leadership will drive team performance, manage client relationships, and uphold quality standards in fast-paced environments.
The ideal candidate will also have strong estimating experience, including the ability to write both insurance and self-pay estimates for restoration and specialty cleanup services. Experience utilizing Xactimate for insurance claim estimating, supplementing, and scope development is highly preferred.

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple restoration projects, including water, fire, mold, storm, sewage, and biohazard damage repairs, ensuring timely completion within scope and budget.
- Supervise and coordinate work crews, including janitorial staff, custodial teams, subcontractors, and specialty cleanup technicians, providing clear direction and support.
- Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and detailed estimates while monitoring progress to meet or exceed client expectations.
- Prepare accurate estimates for both insurance claims and self-pay/private work, including mold remediation, animal feces cleanup, biohazard/trauma cleanup, water mitigation, fire damage, demolition, contents cleaning, and reconstruction services.
- Utilize Xactimate to create insurance claim estimates, supplements, and detailed scopes of work while coordinating with insurance adjusters and carriers as needed.
- Conduct site inspections to assess damage, plan remediation strategies, and ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Communicate regularly with clients, insurance adjusters, vendors, and internal teams to provide updates and resolve issues promptly.
- Oversee cleaning processes such as debris removal, pack-outs, contents cleaning, laundry services related to restoration needs, and general custodial tasks during projects.
- Maintain detailed documentation of project activities, including progress reports, photos, safety records, estimates, supplements, and compliance documentation.
Qualifications
- Proven supervisory experience in restoration services or related fields such as cleaning, janitorial work, mitigation, reconstruction, or hospitality management.
- Strong management skills with the ability to lead teams effectively in high-pressure situations.
- Experience preparing estimates for insurance and self-pay restoration projects.
- Proficiency in Xactimate with experience writing insurance claim estimates, supplements, and scopes of work.
- Experience estimating and managing mold remediation, biohazard cleanup, sewage losses, animal feces cleanup, contents cleaning, and specialty restoration services is highly preferred.
- Experience with commercial cleaning operations or hotel housekeeping management is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of custodial practices, laundry operations related to restoration projects, and general cleaning procedures.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders, including homeowners, insurance carriers, and subcontractors.

- Prior experience in hospitality or hotel industry settings is a plus but not required.
