Days Inn, Reynoldsburg is looking for a full time maintenance Technician.
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance tasks across various systems and equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and safety. This role requires a strong background in both electrical and mechanical systems, as well as the ability to lead and supervise maintenance projects effectively.
Duties:
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing and hotel door locks)
- (We are looking for someone who has lot of experience with hotel door locks, installing PTAC and maintaining swimming pool)
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment and facility issues
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and inspections
- Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards
- Collaborate with the team to support the overall facility operations
- Removing the old damaged carpet or laminate flooring and installing the new laminated flooring on.
- Painting the guest bedrooms and modernising the bathroom equipment. (Eg installing new vanity units.)
- Making sure the guest bedroom doors are fire code compliant. Adjusting the hinges or replacing with new hinges.
- You will be responsible for maintaining the whole building.
What You Bring:
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair a wide range of equipment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Flexibility to work occasional shifts or be on-call as needed
- Relevant certifications or licenses (e.g., HVAC, electrical) are a plus
