Village-In-Place Home Health/Hospice Agency is currently seeking to hire a Registered Nurse to fulfill our PRN on-call position for weekends. This position will begin on-call Saturday morning at 8am and remain on-call until Monday morning at 8am. You can pick up one weekend a month or every weekend, it's up to you! Each weekend, you will earn $250 just to be on call and $50 for every visit you make!
The RN on-call is responsible for answer patient/family/physician calls, triaging the nature of each call and responding to the call appropriately. Other duties include visiting scheduled home health/ hospice visits, conducting start of cares, discharges and deaths.
Mileage will be reimbursed and patient location is typically limited to a 30 mile radius!
The successful candidate will possess a current PA Registered Nurse license in good standing and a valid PA Driver's license. The ideal applicant will have at least one year of previous nursing experience.
