Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper to join our team and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort in residential settings. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of all residential areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living spaces, following established sanitation procedures.
- Execute floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming carpets, and polishing surfaces to maintain a pristine appearance.
- Handle laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens with care.
- Use appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment safely and effectively to ensure surfaces are sanitized and well-maintained.
- Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture or equipment while adhering to safety guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness of outdoor spaces when required, including patios or entryways.
- Communicate professionally with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service.
Experience
- Previous experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping is highly preferred, with familiarity in janitorial or custodial roles being advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, carpet cleaners, buffers, and floor scrubbers.
- Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation procedures across various surfaces and materials.
- Experience with laundry processes and handling cleaning supplies responsibly.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently within scheduled timeframes.
- Outdoor work experience is a plus for maintaining exterior areas when necessary.
- Prior hotel or commercial cleaning experience is beneficial but not required; training will be provided for specific responsibilities.
