Position Overview
Verveba Telecom is seeking motivated and reliable Apprentice Electricians to support a commercial electrical project in Eagle Mountain, Utah.
The Apprentice Electrician will work under the direction of experienced Journeyman Electricians and project leadership while assisting with electrical installation, construction, and related field activities.
This is an excellent opportunity for electricians who are developing their skills and looking to gain valuable commercial electrical experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with electrical installation and construction activities.
- Assist with installation, routing, and termination of electrical wiring and components.
- Help install conduit, cable, electrical devices, and related equipment.
- Pull and route electrical cable as directed.
- Assist with electrical equipment installation and connections.
- Read and follow basic electrical drawings, layouts, and instructions.
- Use hand and power tools safely and appropriately.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Follow all OSHA, project, and company safety requirements.
- Support Journeyman Electricians and project supervisors as directed.
- Perform other electrical-related duties within the scope of training and experience.
Qualifications
- Previous electrical construction experience preferred but not required.
- Electrical apprenticeship experience or trade school training is a plus.
- Basic understanding of electrical tools and construction practices.
- Ability to read and understand basic drawings and instructions.
- Ability to work safely on an active construction site.
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather/site conditions when required.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to pass applicable background, drug screening, and client onboarding requirements.
- Ability to travel to and work in Eagle Mountain, Utah.
Per diem may be available for qualified traveling candidates, subject to project terms and eligibility. Overtime may be available based on project requirements.
Pay: $25.66 - $30.90 per hour
