Job Summary
All American Trans, LLC is a licensed non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) company serving the Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia region. We are a small, fast-growing woman-owned business expanding into government transportation contracts including school district and federal agency partnerships. We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented individual to help us identify, pursue, and win government contracts — starting as an intern with a clear path to a full-time role as the business grows.
Responsibilities
- Search government procurement portals (SAM.gov, eVA Virginia, USASpending) for NEMT and transportation contract opportunities in Virginia, Maryland, and DC
- Help write and organize RFP responses, capability statements, and bid submission packages
- Track proposal deadlines, compliance requirements, and registration renewals
- Research market pricing and prior contract awards to support our bidding strategy
- Help identify and contact potential subcontracting partners in the Hampton Roads area
- Maintain spreadsheets, document trackers, and filing systems for active bids and contracts
- Draft professional emails, letters, and follow-up correspondence on behalf of the company
Skills
- Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM software for managing client relationships and sales pipelines
- Strong interest in business development strategies and government procurement processes
- Excellent communication skills for effective negotiation and stakeholder engagement
- Ability to organize multiple tasks using project management tools and techniques
- Knowledge of strategic planning principles to support long-term growth initiatives
- Basic understanding of sales techniques and customer relationship management practices
- Proactive attitude with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving capabilities
