Duties
- Assist with daily maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, and trimming to keep the course looking immaculate
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely for various groundskeeping activities such as aerating, fertilizing, and planting
- Perform routine gardening tasks like planting new greenery, pruning trees and shrubs, and mulching beds
- Conduct general maintenance of equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition
- Follow safety protocols during all groundskeeping activities to prevent accidents and promote a safe work environment
Experience
- Prior experience or familiarity with landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Knowledge of irrigation systems, lawn care practices, and landscaping techniques is a plus
- Ability to operate hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and wheelbarrows confidently
- Experience using power tools like trimmers or blowers is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining course aesthetics and safety standards
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining energy and enthusiasm
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward collaborative efforts in groundskeeping tasks
Requirements
- This is a part time position 4 hour shifts with flexible scheduling
- One weekend day is required
Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
