Responsibilities
- Greet members and guests warmly, providing friendly and professional customer service at all times
- Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently using our front desk systems
- Handle cash transactions accurately for memberships, classes, and retail sales
- Assist with organizing and supporting fitness events, classes, and special activities to enhance member engagement
- Monitor facility safety protocols, including conflict management and guest safety procedures
- Conduct basic first aid or CPR if necessary, ensuring immediate response to emergencies
- Support manual handling tasks such as setting up equipment or assisting with light maintenance duties
- Address member inquiries promptly, providing information about programs, schedules, and amenities
Qualifications
- Proven experience in customer service or guest-facing roles; experience in hospitality or food service is a plus
- Strong communication skills with the ability to speak confidently in public settings or during presentations
- Ability to manage conflicts professionally and calmly resolve guest concerns
- Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR certification; lifeguard experience is advantageous
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely
- Experience working with children or in a resort environment is preferred
- Familiarity with event management or organizing group activities is beneficial
- Previous theater or public speaking experience can enhance your ability to engage with diverse audiences
