Overview
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Sign Fabricator, focusing on channel letter experience, to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the fabrication, assembly, and finishing of a wide range of commercial signage. This role requires attention to detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to work with various materials and tools to produce high-quality signage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and assemble commercial signs, including channel letters, cabinet signs,
- dimensional letters, and custom signage
- Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and work orders
- Operate fabrication equipment such as saws, routers, welders, shear brake and
- rollers
- Work with materials including aluminum, acrylic, steel, and LED components
- Perform electrical wiring for illuminated signs (if qualified)
- Ensure all products meet quality standards and project specifications
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Collaborate with design and installation teams to meet project deadlines
- Troubleshoot fabrication issues and make necessary adjustments
- Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of sign fabrication experience (required)
- Proficiency with common fabrication tools and equipment
- Experience with channel letter fabrication and sign assembly
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and layouts
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Basic electrical knowledge for sign wiring (preferred)
- Valid driver’s license (preferred)
- Preferred Skills:
- Welding experience (MIG)
- Knowledge of LED lighting systems and sign illumination
- Work Environment:
- Shop/production environment with exposure to tools, machinery, noise, and
- materials
May involve occasional outdoor work or installation support
