Responsibilities
- Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise execution of projects.
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood and metal framing components for residential and commercial structures.
- Perform drywall installation and finishing to achieve smooth surfaces ready for painting or further treatment.
- Operate hand tools and power tools for woodworking, metal stud framing, cabinetry, door hanging, and fixture installation with safety as a top priority.
- Apply paint, stain, caulking, and other surface treatments to enhance the aesthetic appeal and protect structures.
- Conduct restoration work including water damage remediation, mold removal, rebar installation, siding replacement, and roofing repairs.
- Assist with construction estimating by measuring materials needed for projects and interpreting blueprints or technical drawings accurately.
Skills
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and construction plans; ability to interpret technical drawings effectively.
- Skilled in using hand tools such as saws, hammers, chisels; power tools including drills, sanders, nail guns for woodworking and framing tasks.
- Experience with drywall installation, plastering, stucco application, caulking, tile laying, flooring installation and cabinet setup.
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes and material specifications related to wood construction materials and rebar installation.
- Strong understanding of power tool safety protocols; capable of operating CNC machines or woodworking machines is a plus.
- Background in residential carpentry including door hanging, fixture installation, siding work or heavy lifting on construction sites.
- Familiarity with experience in manufacturing or remodeling projects is advantageous.

Pay: $28.19 - $33.95 per hour
Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
