Kitten Care Coordinator (Seasonal)
One Full-Time and One Part-Time Position Available
Position Summary
The Kitten Care Coordinator is a seasonal, mission-critical role dedicated to the care, coordination, and placement of neonatal kittens (birth to 8 weeks of age) entering ACCT Philly during peak kitten season. As the primary daytime caretaker for the shelter’s most vulnerable population, the Kitten Care Coordinator ensures consistent, high-quality care while expanding the shelter’s lifesaving capacity through foster training, volunteer support, and community engagement.
This position plays a vital role in reducing neonatal mortality, improving live release rates, and ensuring that every savable kitten has a safe pathway to survival. The Kitten Care Coordinator directly contributes to lives saved—not only through hands-on care, but by expanding the number of trained fosters capable of caring for neonatal kittens year after year.
