Job Summary
We are seeking an EXPERIENCED and dedicated SSAT, ISEE & SAT Tutor who can do BOTH the Math & English sections. . In this role, you will deliver engaging, personalized instruction that enhances students’ understanding of test content, builds confidence, and improves their scores. Your expertise will empower students to achieve their academic goals while fostering a positive learning environment that encourages growth and motivation. Duties
- Develop comprehensive test prep lessons tailored to the student's needs. Document student's progress regularly, provide constructive feedback and adjusting lesson plans accordingly
- Guide students through test-taking strategies, time management techniques, and stress reduction methods to optimize performance
- Administer practice tests and instructional resources aligned with current exam formats and standards
Requirements
COVER LETTER REQUIRED!
- Proven tutoring experience with standardized tests such as The SSAT, ISEE & SAT
- Strong background in Math, Reading Comprehension, English Grammar, or related academic disciplines with the ability to simplify complex concepts
- Ability to motivate students of diverse backgrounds and skill levels
- Prior experience teaching/tutoring teenagers in classroom or private settings
- Familiarity with special education needs and accommodations is a plus
- Exceptional communication skills combined with patience, adaptability, and a passion for education
- IMPORTANT: Must have at least a bachelor's degree and have recently scored 1400-1600 on SAT or34+ on ACT!
Pay: From $45.00 per hour
