Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Vascular Echo Technologist, where your expertise will play a vital role in diagnosing and evaluating vascular conditions. Duties
- Perform vascular and echo ultrasound imaging procedures, including Doppler studies and vascular mapping, with precision and attention to detail
- Operate sophisticated medical equipment such as ultrasound machines, Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS), and other diagnostic tools to capture high-quality images
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of vascular structures, including lower extremity arteries and veins and carotids, utilizing anatomy knowledge and physiology expertise
- Analyze cardiac rhythm patterns and perform cardiac stress tests, TTE's, ABI's and ABI stress tests when indicated to evaluate cardiovascular function
- Document findings accurately, prepare detailed reports, and communicate results clearly to physicians for diagnosis and treatment decisions
Requirements
- Proven experience with vascular ultrasound imaging, echocardiography, and cardiac diagnostics in a clinical setting
- Familiarity with cardiovascular technology including PACS systems, medical terminology, and cardiac rhythm analysis tools
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical protocols related to emergency medicine, outpatient experience preferred
- 2 years experience minimum
- Certifications required include BLS, RDCS or RCS. RVT preferred
- Experience with Studycast preferred, experience with Mindray Resona I9 preferred
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and explaining procedures to patients
