Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems according to blueprints, schematics, and building codes
- Operate hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and other equipment safely and effectively
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to support plumbing tasks
- Support pipe fitting activities including cutting, threading, fitting, and securing pipes in various construction settings
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all field activities to ensure a secure work environment
- Help with remodeling projects, system upgrades, and routine maintenance tasks on plumbing systems
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and properly store tools and materials after use
Experience
- Prior construction experience or hands-on work with plumbing or HVAC systems is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Familiarity with construction site safety procedures and building code compliance standards
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and understanding technical instructions
- Experience reading blueprints or technical schematics is advantageous
- Customer service skills are a plus for interactions with clients or team members on-site
- Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and basic carpentry or handyman skills will support your success in this role
- Demonstrated ability to follow safety protocols related to power tool safety and field service operations
