Summary
We are seeking a Labor and Employment Law Associate to join our dynamic team at Lyfe Law. This position offers an opportunity to work closely with clients and contribute to various legal cases while enhancing your skills in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Draft legal documents and correspondence for client cases.
- Conduct thorough legal research using Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis.
- Assist in litigation processes, including preparing for trials and hearings.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on labor and employment law matters.
- Maintain organized case files and documentation within the law office.
- Communicate directly with clients to provide updates and gather information.
Requirements
- CA Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- CA Licensed Attorney in good standing.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to draft clear legal documents.
- Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis.
- 3-5 Years experience or knowledge in Labor and Employment law.
- Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
