Polypropylene Welder

TFI is hiring a Polypropylene Welder to build custom lab benches, enclosures, and chemical-resistant components.

TFI Inline Design is an affiliate of Elemental Scientific, Inc. (ESI), a leader in laboratory automation and analytical instrumentation. TFI specializes in the design and fabrication of custom polypropylene systems, including benches, enclosures, and fluidic components used in advanced laboratory environments.
Responsibilities:
- Perform polypropylene (PP) welding and plastic fabrication
- Build lab benches, cabinets, and enclosures from engineered plastics
- Cut, shape, and assemble materials using hand and power tools
- Read and follow blueprints and technical drawings
- Use hot air welding and extrusion welding equipment
- Inspect finished parts for quality, strength, and accuracy
Requirements:
- Experience in plastic welding, fabrication, or manufacturing
- Familiarity with polypropylene (PP), PVC, or similar materials
- Ability to read basic blueprints/drawings
- Strong attention to detail and workmanship
- Ability to lift 25–50 lbs and work with tools safely
Preferred:
- Experience with extrusion welding or hot air welding
- Background in custom fabrication or industrial production
- Experience building chemical-resistant equipment or enclosures
