American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Home Health position requiring a CA RN license and HomeCare HomeBase (HCHB) EMR experience.

Home Health setting providing direct patient care to adult patients in their homes
-
Patient population includes wound care, wound vacs, new ostomies, and post-surgical wounds
-
Frequent cardiac patients including CHF, pneumonia, and IV antibiotic therapy with PICC line care and lab draws
-
No pediatric patients
-
RT equipment limited to oxygen and nebulizers; CPAP may be present but not actively managed
-
RNs typically see up to 5 routine visits per day using a point system
-
No SOC or recertification visits required, only routine visits
-
No case management or patient scheduling responsibilities
-
Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm with a one-hour lunch, no weekends or holidays
-
No on-call or standby requirements
-
No floating required and no hospice care involved

Charting completed on a Samsung tablet using HomeCare HomeBase (HCHB) EMR

Active CA RN license required

BLS certification required

Valid driver's license and insurance required

Minimum 2 years of RN experience required

BSN not required

HomeCare HomeBase (HCHB) EMR experience required

Experience with wound vacs, ostomies, and general wound care required

Provide direct patient care in the home health setting including wound care, PICC line management, and monitoring of cardiac and respiratory conditions

Preceptor assigned during a one-week orientation period to home health operations

Supervised by two managers working Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm, with an administrator on call for support

Team includes RNs, LVNs, PT, OT, and social workers

Home health aide support available for a limited number of patients; travelers are not expected to assist with bathing

Scrubs not required; neat, appropriate regular clothing is acceptable

Located in Redding, a rural Northern California community offering access to mountains, lakes, and wilderness recreation

Issued a cell phone for work use
