We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by delivering personalized care and support in various settings, including assisted living facilities and home health environments. Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Administer medication as prescribed and monitor client health by taking vital signs.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
- Help clients with mobility and physical activities while promoting independence.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to safety protocols.
- Document care provided and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals regarding any changes in client condition.
- Uphold resident rights and ensure the privacy and confidentiality of all client information.
Experience
- Previous experience in patient care, home health, or assisted living environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of working with individuals with disabilities, including developmental disabilities, is a plus.
- Familiarity with first aid practices and emergency response procedures is beneficial.
- A strong understanding of medication administration protocols is essential.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients are crucial for success in this role.
