Traveling Superintendent – Data Center Construction
We are hiring experienced Traveling Superintendents to lead ground-up data center and mission-critical construction projects across the United States.
This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with a strong national project pipeline, competitive compensation, travel benefits, and continued opportunities for advancement. What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead daily field operations from mobilization through turnover and closeout
- Manage subcontractors, field personnel, site logistics, and daily coordination
- Maintain project schedules and develop two-, three-, and six-week lookaheads
- Drive safety, quality control, productivity, and schedule performance
- Coordinate closely with Project Management, owners, design teams, and trade partners
- Lead subcontractor meetings and communicate project expectations
- Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and construction documents
- Identify potential issues early and develop practical field solutions
- Oversee commissioning, punch-list completion, and project turnover
- Maintain accurate daily reports and project documentation
Required Experience
- At least five years of experience as a Construction Superintendent, Senior Superintendent, or General Superintendent
- Previous ground-up data center or mission-critical construction experience
- Experience managing subcontractors and complex project schedules
- Strong knowledge of construction safety, quality, and field operations
- Ability and willingness to travel nationally for project assignments
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced and schedule-driven environments
Preferred Experience
Experience with one or more of the following is highly preferred:
- Hyperscale or colocation data centers
- Critical infrastructure
- Advanced manufacturing
- Semiconductor facilities
- Battery or electric-vehicle manufacturing
- Pharmaceutical or life-sciences facilities
- Large-scale industrial construction
- MEP-intensive projects
- Commissioning and turnover
Compensation and Travel Benefits
- Competitive base salary: $150,000 - $225,000

Travel Expectations
This position requires travel to active project locations throughout the United States. Current and upcoming projects are located in TX, NM, AZ, OK, MO, ND, SD, MN, WI, VA, OH, IN, LA, PA, MD, VA, GA, MS, AL, KY, CA, WA, NV and more.
The typical travel-home rotation is every two weeks, with company-paid trips home.
