Summary: Responsible for providing support to the Restaurant Manager on restaurant operations and activities to ensure effective and profitable operation.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist with overseeing all restaurant, bar and banquet operations

Oversee restaurant and banquet supervisors and staff

Provide training and coaching

Handle employee relations, staff scheduling and other operational duties

Implement service standards and assist with providing continual follow-up

Maintains a presence in the dining areas at all times throughout service and interact positively with customers.

Supports staff at peak times and undertake any operational duty to ensure customer expectations are met

Maintain strong communication within the department

Responsible for resolving customer complaints regarding food quality and service.

Assists the Restaurant Manager as needed on special departmental projects

Attends Department Manager meetings in the Restaurant Manager absence

Performs other duties as assigned by manager

Prior restaurant managerial experience preferred

Able to work holidays, weekends and evenings
- Excellent customer service skills

Expected to obtain California Food Handler Certification
- RBS certification

Bilingual skill is a plus

Basic typing skills and ability to operate standard office equipment including: copier, fax, telephone, calculator, etc.
- Proficient with POS, Microsoft Word, Excel and use of email.
