Job Title: Youth Advocate

What You’ll Do:
- Provide daily support and positive guidance to youth.
- Assist with Emotional Wellness programming and promote a positive Clubhouse culture.
- Support youth with emotional regulation, skill building, and behavioral interventions.
- Use trauma-informed, restorative, and de-escalation practices to help youth navigate challenges.
- Collaborate with the Emotional Wellness Team and Clubhouse staff to meet the individual needs of members.
- Maintain detailed case notes and track data to support member progress.
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate to identify the best supports for youth.
What We’re Looking For:
- At least one year of experience working with youth.
- Compassion, patience, strong communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to remain calm and respond effectively in challenging situations.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- A commitment to continuous learning around behavior management, trauma-informed care, restorative practices, and crisis intervention techniques.
Bonus Points For:
- Relevant coursework or degrees in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, or Counseling.
- Advanced knowledge of child/adolescent development, social emotional learning, and trauma-informed care.
- Experience with outcome evaluation and continuous improvement in a human services setting.

Schedule: Part-Time; Monday – Friday: School Year 1:00pm to 6:00pm; Summer 10:00am to 5:00pm
Pay: Starting at $17/hour and up, based on experience for the position
